History

The Carolinas Collision Association was formed on January 1, 2020, when the North Carolina Association of Collision and Repair and the South Carolina Association of Collision and Repair joined together to create a unified voice for collision repair professionals across both states. By combining the strengths, relationships, and educational programs of the two organizations, the new association was able to expand opportunities for collaboration, training, and industry advocacy throughout the Carolinas. The founding vision was simple: bring repair professionals together to share knowledge, elevate industry standards, and ensure safe, proper repairs for consumers.

Since its formation, CCA has continued to grow its reach and impact. In 2026, CCA launched an integrated membership model with the Society of Collision Repair Specialists, giving members access to both strong regional representation and national-level advocacy, education, and resources. This partnership reflects CCA’s ongoing commitment to innovation, collaboration, and strengthening the collective voice of collision repair professionals. Today, CCA continues to expand its programs, partnerships, and educational opportunities as it works to support independent repairers and advance the future of the collision repair industry throughout North and South Carolina.
