Title: Take Control of Your Estimate and Repair Order Data
Description: Many believe that estimate and repair order information/data is the new-found gold in the collision repair industry. Why are repair shops simply giving it to for-profit companies that sell your information and data to third-party firms for their own financial gain without authorization to do so? This session will present shops with the information they need to start reaping the benefits of the information they generate, instead of giving it away.
His knowledge and insight into the collision repair industry comes primarily from his years of
employment in collision repair, auto insurance claims, and an automotive aftermarket
information technology provider. Subsequently, he launched NuGen IT in 2004 which was
acquired by OEConnection in 2020. In 2022 Pete launched a data privacy technology company
targeted at the collision repair industry.Throughout his career, Pete has also been and remains
active in several industry associations including I-CAR, CIECA, CIC and most recently with
SCRS.
